For parents:

This is a free program for your child, funded by community friends who want to develop your child’s untapped potential. The only commitment that we ask from parents and families is that you support your child by making sure they get to the events. These happen twice a month and include learning sessions and social activities.

 

While your student is in the program you will see them become more confident and positive. As you notice these changes, it is important for you to encourage this development. It is a program that will benefit your entire family indirectly! 

School Nominations

Any Grant County 7th grader may be nominated for this three-year program that begins in the fall of their 8th grade year. Nominations are accepted from local schools and members of the community.  

 

Nominations for this program happen privately. We do not notify students that they have been nominated in advance of being selected, because space in the program is limited.      

 

Nomination information is provided to school principals and counselors. Nominations forms may be obtained from LEAD, Inc. or a school counselor.
